The Community School of the Arts, the Center for Global Engagement, the Department of Theater, and the School of Music have collaborated to offer this class free to teens and adults, ages 16 and up. Designed for individuals at any experience level, this class will teach students the basics of African dance and drumming. Students will dance and drum together while discovering the origins of songs, diverse tribes, and the African continent and culture. Students who are interested and available may be invited to appear in an ISU student production of Miss Julie in March. Please call the CSA office to register at (812) 237-2528.
