Individual one-on-one lessons are available to students of all ages and ability levels. Private instruction encourages music literacy, the growth of instrumental and vocal skills and develops patience, dedication, perseverance, goal setting and time management. Private music student meets with an instructor once per week for 15 weeks for 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions. Lessons are offered in the following areas: brass, woodwind, guitar, percussion, piano, strings and voice.
There is an one-time per year private music lesson membership fee of $35/individual or $50/per family. This fee allows you to sign up for as many lessons and classes as you wish, during the fall, spring and summer semesters. This covers the period of August 18, 2015 to August 17, 2016. Members receive a 10% discount on classes. ISU employees, ISU students and OLLI members receive CSA members' prices without paying the membership fee. There are no discounts on fees for private music lessons or the Terre Haute Children's Choir, or resident summer camps
